Joe and Amy
Owners
Joe and Amy Snodgrass, college-sweethearts from Clarion University, always desired a business of their own. Joe has spent most of his career working in the oil and gas industry, but enjoys planting crops and growing the produce for our store. He also enjoys fishing, taking care of his goats, chickens, and dogs, and spending time with his family. Amy, who has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, spent many years teaching children at Bethlehem-Center Elementary School in Fredericktown, PA. An avid crafter for most of her life, Amy enjoys creating the beautiful crafts found throughout the store, creating gifts for all seasons, and arranging grave decorations. When she is not at the market, she enjoys spoiling the dogs, reading, and cooking. This hard-working, ambitious, and loving couple decided to pursue their passion for entrepreneurship when an opportunity to purchase a greenhouse/farm market business arose in 2013. Through the ups and downs of developing a growing business, they have worked extremely hard to get us to where we are today!

Jacob
Son of Joe and Amy, Jake has been working at the market/greenhouse since the opening of our business and we are always grateful for his willingness to provide some manpower when needed. He can typically be found helping on the farm, taking care of the goats and chickens, or helping to plant and prepare for produce season. He enjoys fishing and spending any free time with family and friends.

Megan and Michael
Daughter of Joe and Amy, Megan can typically be found working at Joe’s Farm Market, when she is not at graduate school pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She helps when needed at the store/farm and enjoys assisting customers as well as spending time with her family and dogs. Michael, soon to be son-in-law of Joe and Amy, helps around the farm and greenhouse when he can and has helped create this wonderful new website for our customers to use! The couple met at Lebanon Valley College, where Michael played baseball and obtained his degree in Economics and Megan pursued her degree in Exercise Science.

Eva and Ella
Eva and Ella, important members of the Snodgrass Family, spend their time helping out on the farm. Eva enjoys going for long runs around the fields and surveying the area for any animal intruders who may be trying to steal some produce! Ella, who most of you may remember seeing as a puppy at the store throughout the Christmas season in 2018, also enjoys jogging around the fields on the farm. Their favorite foods include Simmons Farm strawberries, Joe’s Farm Market green beans, and Chambersburg peaches! Both rescue pups are the inspiration behind our donations that go directly to The Puppy Connection in Washington, PA.
